America’s Repentance, Forgiveness, & Reconciliation Week Begins Today
“Kick-off begins with Appealing for Forgiveness of the Church/Synagogue Leaders & Members”
November 15, 2012— America is in a crisis. It is time for America to be united once again. Since the results of the election, there appears to be anger, resentment, and bitterness among American people and the National leaders about President Obama being reelected for a second term. You can see it, read it, and hear it everywhere. It does not help that others want to see this fighting and chaos. There are so many people who are suffering with the aftermath of Sandy and many people may have developed unforgiveness in their hearts and even blame God for their trials and tribulations. Many people no longer have their own house to celebrate Thanksgiving, which is a week away.
After 9/11 several National leaders stated the Isaiah 9:10 judgment. “In Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s book, The Harbinger: The Ancient Mystery That Holds the Secret of America’s Future” “(www.theharbingerwebsite.com), he states that America’s Leaders have uttered the words of Isaiah 9:10 “the bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” It is amazing how these few verses collate with what has happened at Ground Zero. In other words, Cahn says the nation is a defiant posture toward God. We will rebuild "without" God. Even if we have been humbled, we, in our pride, will make things better and become stronger.
After Sandy, several church leaders and National leaders have stated that “we will rebuild”. The declaration that we will rebuild, we will recover did NOT acknowledge "with God's grace" as many predecessors had done in making similar declarations - but it is in the same spirit of "self-will" as the speeches that directly cited the Isaiah passage after 9/11.
Is America under judgment because of the prophetic words spoken by 3 America’s Leaders, where 2 have already fallen from grace? Is it a coincident that all 3 leaders are Democrats? They may not have known what they were reading and doing, but did the speech writers know? The Word of God has SUPERNATURAL POWER. Those prophetic words that were spoken should be renounced and reversed in Jesus’/Yeshuas’ name in a public setting before it is too late. We pray that the Church Leaders & National Leaders will confess of their sins, ask for forgiveness & repent of their sins so that reconciliation can occur. Is this Heal Our Nations Event and Rabbi Jonathan Cahn book, “The Harbinger: The Ancient Mystery That Holds the Secret of America’s Future” a wake-up call for America to turn back towards God before the “hedge of protection” is removed by Him? In Rabbi Cahn’s book, he discussed that Ancient Israel’s pride and failure to heed the harbinger caused them to have bigger and more potent attacks until they were destroyed. America had warnings up until now. Is there a remnant of faithful God's people who want to see America transformed back to God-centered values? Forgiveness is the first step to healing, freedom, joy and reconciliation.
How can a Nation Receive God's Blessings of Protection? The Only Solution: 2 Chronicles 7:14
The solution is 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) states, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Solomon asked God to make provision for the people when they sinned. God answered with four conditions for forgiveness: (1) Humble yourself by admitting your sins (2) pray to God, asking for forgiveness; (3) seek God, and (4) turn from sinful behavior. True repentance is more than talk – it is a changed behavior. Whether we sin individually, as a group, or as a nation, following these steps will lead to forgiveness. God will answer with our earnest prayers. (Source: Life Applications Study Bible) Many pastors have been quoting this scripture, but are they ready to take action? It is time to walk the walk.
God is giving us an opportunity to turn back to Him during this time period to get this message out to His people. Are you awake yet? If we take the first step by doing everything that God requires us, God will hear our prayers and heal our nations. We have to take the first step!
Why “America’s Repentance, Forgiveness, & Reconciliation Week”?
Apostasy is running rampant in America. The spiritual and morale state of this world is spiraling downward and while many people in the Christian Church are watching and talking about it. God wants a relationship with every person. By being a true follower of God, it is not a religion, but a relationship with Him. We want people to experience their own personal spiritual awakening by developing a personal relationship with God. It is time for us to use the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ/Yeshua of Nazareth and the Word of God to turn our situation around in America. In other words, we must put our spiritual abilities to work!
We welcome all nations to join us as we follow the commandment “if we do not forgive others, then God will not forgive us”. Each day is dedicated to a segment of the population. Many people are hurting. These hurting people hurt other people. We do not want people to hurt others because they have been hurt themselves. Someone said, “Forgiveness is giving up the right to hate those who have hurt us.” Mark 11:25-26 (NKJV) states, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” It is God’s commandment. Many people do not realize that they are blocking their own blessings in their lives, because they failed to forgive those who have hurt them, persecute them or are adversaries to their souls. Do you want to be FREE? Let go and let God!
In Michael L. Galiga’s book, “Win Every Battle Conquering Fear & Claiming Victory for Success in Life” he states, “Unforgiveness opens spiritual pathways for dark, demonic spirits to wreak havoc in your life. Forgiveness is mandatory to win every battle. Forgiveness means surrendering your rights to hold anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, judgments, or offenses. It means surrendering the situation to the Living God. There is no government or nation so evil that God will not forgive and save it. If we do our part, God will do His part. The only way to get free is to forgive. When we humble ourselves, repent and turn from our wicked ways, we will win every battle.”
In the Dr. Ed Murphy’s book, “The Handbook of Spiritual Warfare” it states, “Those who hurt you have their own guilt, but it is guilt before God, not before you. You are not responsible for their actions. You are only responsible for your reactions to their actions. People are always held responsible for their sins, even sins provoked by the unjust actions of others. Some people have become so accustomed to their self-pity, anger, feelings of inferiority, rejection; they really don’t want to change. For many, it has become an excuse for other sins, which they do not want to abandon. When you forgive and can really pray for the salvation and transformation of those who have hurt you most, you are on the way to healing. God moves in answer to the prayers of His saints.” We want people to start enjoying the best life that God has for them. It is never too late to forgive. You can start right now by confessing and repenting of your sin to the Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua and asking Him to come into your heart and baptize you with the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Life. In addition, you can pray for those who have hurt you that they may come into the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For others, they are blaming God for what is wrong in their lives. Thus, they are giving Satan a free pass to go.
“Forgiveness is not justice. It is certainly easier to forgive someone who sincerely apologizes and makes amends. However, justice—which may include acknowledgment of the wrong, apologies, punishment, restitution, or compensation—is separate from forgiveness. You may pursue your rights for justice with or without forgiving someone. And if justice is denied, you can still choose whether or not to forgive. Forgiveness is a powerful choice you can make when it’s right for you that can lead to greater well-being and better relationships. “(Source: The How of Happiness, by Sonja Lyubomirsky)
Forgiveness is a process. We must forgive the faith communities, national leaders, communities’ leaders, people in our communities, family menbers, friends, business associates, strangers and even ourselves so that unforgiveness can no longer harm our physical and mental well-being. Many people are suffering needlessly and forgiveness may be their first step to freedom, joy and healing.
Two Ways to Forgive Others:
There are 2 ways that you can forgive others: (1) by praying & releasing that person to God or (2) by confronting the offender/perpetuator and ask for forgiveness as stated in Luke 17:3, “if he repents. “So watch yourselves. “If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.”
We want to see families restored, relationships restored and America restored. Do you? Let us begin now!
Here is the Schedule for International Repentance, Forgiveness, and Reconciliation (I.R.F.R.) Week:

Appeal for Forgiveness of Church/Synagogue Leaders & Members: November 15, 2012
There are countless stories of churchgoers being hurt by their leaders or church, as well as, church leaders who have been hurt by the church. Unforgiveness plays a pivotal role in the church. There are many wounded church/synagogue leaders, as well as, members in the church. As a result, there has been great conflict, division, and members even stopped attending worship because of disagreements or personal issues with their fellow church members.
In the article, Practicing Forgives Requires Commitment, Time states, “Forgiveness is a tenet of faith and a popular sermon topic, but the practice of daily reconciliation — of cleansing the hatred from one’s heart — can be a challenging goal.
Those working to give church members practical ways to implement forgiveness strategies say practicing what is preached is a matter of living it each day, with an emphasis on revisiting what was learned the day before.
"Reconciliation is a huge amount of work on the congregational level," said the Rev. Sonnye Dixon, pastor of Hobson United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tenn. "You have to believe that it’s essential for your community to make it start to happen."
Last year, more than 70 of Hobson’s members embarked on a yearlong journey toward forgiveness. Dixon said the idea for the program began after church leaders saw that dozens of members had stopped attending worship because of disagreements or personal issues with their fellow Christians.
During a special assembly, members were encouraged to participate in three symbols of forgiveness: a ritual of writing down their grievances, then burning them; a remembrance of their baptism; and an anointing ceremony.
Since then, Dixon said, he has worked with individuals and small groups, urging them to reconnect with those around them whom they might have pushed away. "We all disappoint each other, and each of us has something we need to have forgiven," Dixon said. The most difficult part about it is getting people to see that they need to ask for forgiveness. Dixon says churches willing to prioritize forgiveness on the congregational level will see members transformed." The Christian Church has done a great job in “playing church”. It is time for the Christian Church to take their rightful place in society as the “Bride of Jesus”. It is time to stop “entertaining” the congregation.
Here are 10 areas that God revealed to Ms. Peters:
- The Christian Church has been silent or allowed the spirit of fear, while laws are passed, which violated the teachings of Jesus Christ. You can visit Mr. Barton's website www.wallbuilders.com to learn about more about church and state. Are they separate? The Christian Church has allowed the petty differences to divide them. Instead of concentrating on the fact that they worship "Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior" as Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 1:10-17 & Colossians 2:16-17.
- False prophets/teachers are deceiving many Christians. Since many believers do not know the Word of God for themselves, they are not aware that they are being deceived. “Counterfeit preaching” is deceiving many Christians. Matthew 4:24 states, "we should take heed in what we hear." It is time for Christians to be "bold as a lion", if the church is preaching counterfeit preaching, they will have 2 choices; they can find a new church or get a new pastor. This is for the salvation of their souls, which Satan would gladly want, but God wants even more.
- The Christian Church has failed to make "disciples" to spread the gospel. Many Christians cannot spread the gospel because they do not know the Word of God or they are not obeying the Word of God. They are not mediating and reading the Holy Bible daily. They cannot provide testimonies on how Jesus Christ has moved in their lives. How can believers testify to unbelievers to Jesus Christ, if they are not on fire for Him or they have never experienced any miracles, signs, or wonders for themselves?
- Many souls are lost to Satan. (This is the sadness one of all.)
- Apostasy is running rampant in the Christian Church from the Jewish and Gentiles Church/Synagogue leaders down to the congregation. Many Christians are sitting “on the fence” and have not totally submitted themselves to God. It is time for these Christians to recommit their lives to God.
- The believers continue to sin, without confessing, repenting and asking the Holy Spirit to help them to have complete victory over their sin. Churches can help that happen in members’ lives by establishing small-group experiences in which people feel free to share their experiences and confessions.
- Many Christians have left the Christian Church and have joined another religious denomination or they no longer attend church at all. Sadly, the Christian Church has not reached out to these former Christian churchgoers.
- Christian Church should be present outside the four corners of their buildings by partnering with others in the community and in the nation.
- The Christian Church should follow what the early Apostles did together to help spread the full Gospel of God’s Kingdom and help God’s people.
- Many believers do not have a personal relationship with God. The believers are unaware that being a “good person” or doing “good works” will not get them into the gates of heaven.
Church/Synogogue Leaders are not Preaching Jesus’/Yeshua’s Great Commission
Church/Synagogue Leaders are not preaching or teaching the full Gospel of God’s kingdom and as a result, sin, poverty, suicide, all manner of sickness and disease and even premature deaths are permeating throughout the Christian Church. Apostle Guillermo Maldonado (www.kingjesusministry.org) of Florida is one of the few anointed man of God who is teaching his congregation about how to experience the supernatural by teaching the full Gospel of God’s kingdom, including “casting out of demons” and “raising people” from the dead. Dr. Chauncey W. Crandall IV (www.chaunceycrandall.com), a famed heart physician and author in Florida tells how he is experiencing the supernatural by raising his patients from the dead. This is being done by people in America. Deliverance is part of the New Testament. Why aren’t others doing it?
God states that the shepherd is responsible for his sheep. The believers are not being taught to walk in the authority that God has given them by using and obeying the Word of God. Jesus/Yeshua has given the believers the "authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm us." How many Jewish & Gentiles church/synagogue leaders have preached on the subject of sin, casting out demons, or raising people from the dead? All of this is possible by believers as stated in Jesus’/Yeshua's Great Commission found at Matthew 28:16-20 and Mark 16:15-18.
Forgiveness starts with the church leaders, but there are so many wounded church leaders who possess unforgiveness in their hearts and minds, as well as, the sins of pride and arrogance there will always be conflict, greed, division, lies, deception, and destruction in the church. The quickest way to keep Satan out of the church is to keep the spirit of forgiveness in the church and in the lives of the church/synagogue leaders and members while praying, ‘Father forgive them; they know not what they do.’ (Luke 23:34).
Fasting means going without food to spend time in prayer. You can do a partial fast or a full fast. The type and length of the fast you choose is up to you. By fasting, you are humbling yourself to God. Some mountains are more difficult and requires prayer and fasting as stated in Matthew 17:21, "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Prayer and fasting indicate faith, discipline and humility before God, without which there can be no hope of success.
Prayer & Divinely Appointed Prayer Times:
Prayer can change your trials & tribulations. In Dr. Larry Dossey M.D. book, “Healing Words”, he presented scientific evidence that prayer can figure prominently in healing illness. The powers of prayers are magnified “Again I say unto you, “That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name; there am I in the midst of them.” (Mat. 18:19-20). Join us in prayer and worship like Jesus/Yeshua & his disciples during the hours: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If your time is limited, will you pray the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)? If you start praying on the hr. or ½ hr., there will always be someone praying at the same time. Will you join us?

First Step: Take the “I FORGIVE” Decree
In the Name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, I FORGIVE MYSELF for those that I hurt or I was an adversary to their souls. In the Name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, I ask you, Jesus Christ/Yeshua to FORGIVE ME FOR
In the Name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, I FORGIVE OTHERS in my past that hurt/harmed me, persecuted me, or were adversaries to my soul. In the Name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, I FORGIVE OTHERS who are presently hurting/harming me, persecuting me, or are adversaries to my soul. In the Name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, I FORGIVE ______ FOR ____________________________________________________.
It is written in Mark 11:25-26 (NKJV) “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
In closing, Letitia Peters of International Spiritual Awakening Ministries, states, “We are calling God’s people of all faiths to come together during this time, as part of our “Heal Our Nations” event. We want people in America to experience miracles, healings, reconciliation and restoration, but it begins with YOU. You have to decide now, if you are going to let go of that unforgiveness in your heart & mind so that you can have joy, peace, love & freedom again. You can memorize the forgiveness scriptures, send a forgiveness card, church leaders can preach a sermon about forgiveness and repentance or your church can host a movie about forgiveness.
