“I.S.A.M. Invites Jews, Gentile, & Unbelievers Worldwide to Attend Feast of Tabernacles Celebration Starting at 4:00 p.m. EST”
“Is there a Remnant of People Who Will Be Obedient & Join Us?
Trenton, NJ –October 8. 2012- This is the final day for the last Holy Day Festivals: Feast of Tabernacles, but many Gentile Christians are not celebrating this because of the misinterpretation of Colossians 2:16-17. If Jesus Christ/Yeshua, the Apostles and the early Church celebrated it, then why are we not celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles in 2012? Just like the early Church, many believers are not celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles because it is according to the tradition of men or according to the principles of the world. Is there a remnant of people who will be obedient and join us today to worship, praise & give thanksgiving to God and provide an offering to Him?
What is the Feast of Tabernacles?
The Feast of Tabernacles or (in Hebrew) Sukkot is the last of the Fall Feasts. It is a joyous and happy feast of thanksgiving to God for His provision, forgiveness and the hope that He gives. We want to thank God for all of His goodness and blessings, just like the ancient Israelites did!
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come . . ." wrote the apostle Paul in Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Paul warned the Colossians to "beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ".
Feast of Tabernacles Commanded in the Old Testament:
Leviticus 23:33-43 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything upon his day:
Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Feast of Tabernacles in the New Testament:
John 7:1-2 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.
John 7:6-8 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you: but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.
Feast of Tabernacles’ Offering
Deuteronomy 16:16 says, "Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Tabernacles. No man should appear before the LORD empty-handed."
Don't let the Feast of Tabernacles pass you by without giving an offering. According to the Word of God, it is essential. God's promises of blessings depend on obedience. Will you honor Him during this special appointed time? We should give in proportion to what God has given us.
